Light a Candle
Late Dr Ibrahim Haider Farhan al-Lami was a much-loved man, such a true gent who would help anybody. He was a loving husband and a great friend. He was a retired university professor. He had his M.Litt. in English Literature from Strathclyde University in 1978 and his Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Birmingham in 1983. He held many academic positions in the most prestigious universities in Iraq, Jordan and Libya. He also taught English literature in the college of Leicester in the UK. He was a British Iraqi. He was born in Habbaniya area in Anbar Province in Iraq in 1950. He passed away in Sheffield, UK in 2020.
